Level switches are to a great extent required in industrial applications, such as in power plants, heavy equipment, oil tankers and bulk powder measurement, among others. In electrical power transformers, an oil tanker is mounted on the top of the transformer to cool the transformer insulation and detect the oil level and temperature; two sensors are mounted inside the tank, a level sensor and a temperature sensor; if the oil level falls below the set level, the level sensor triggers an alarm and sends a signal to the relay.
